< NOTICE of SICACO2014 CONTEST>

  Thanks for your interests & participating in SICACO2014. Our committee has extended the deadline of SICACO2014 by two months due to new theme within World Cup Cartoon. Please inform it your cartoonists and mass communication. We hope many cartoonists take part in my SICACO2014 contest.


1. This year's contest comprises a Thema section (titled  Reality+ Cyber space + World Cup) and a Free section

2. The size of works should be smaller than 297mm × 420mm.

3. Any color, free style, and unlimited items(+2 original works)

4. Each entrant should provide title, name, age, address, career, e-mail, and telephone number on reverse.

5. The deadline for entry of original works is August. 31, 2014.

6. Entries should be addressed to the Sejong Int'l Cartoon      Institute.

7. The most creative cartoon will win the Grand prize of            ＄3,000, Gold prize of ＄1,000, Silver prize of ＄500, Bronze     prize of ＄300, selected works will be awarded.

8. Exhibit the cartoons at the Sejong & Daejeon Galleries in Nov. 2014.

9. Submitted cartoons will not be returned, but exhibited forever     in Korean public halls, art galleries, & museums.

10. Your cartoon may be used for promotional purposes : cards, posters, catalogs, magazine, books and web etc.

1.) Participants can submit up to 5 cartoons in A/4 or A/3 size, using any technique. Prints of cartoons produced or coloured with software can also be submitted on condition that it has the cartoonist’s original signature and the print’s serial number.

“天地之中杯”廉政暨文化遗产漫画大赛征稿公告

为加强廉政文化的普及和文化遗产的宣传保护工作，引导漫画家和漫画爱好者创作具有文化内涵和历史高度的漫画精品，经研究，决定举办“天地之中杯”廉政暨文化遗产漫画大赛，即日起面向全球征稿。现将有关事宜公告如下。

一、组织机构
      批准单位：河南省文化厅
      指导单位：中共郑州市纪律检查委员会
      主办单位：河南省漫画家协会、郑州市文物考古研究院
      承办单位：河南小樱桃动漫集团有限公司
      协办单位：国家动漫产业发展基地河南基地管理委员会、河南省动漫产业协会、郑州小樱桃杂志社有限公司   成立由主办方和国内外著名漫画家参加的大赛组织委员会和评审委员会，负责组织和评奖工作。组委会办公室设在河南小樱桃动漫集团推广 部，负责日常工作。

二、时间安排
      作品征集：2014年6月12日-9月30日；作品初评：10月1日-15日；作品终评：10月16日-31日；颁奖：11月15日。

三、赛事活动安排
      1.单项比赛
      （1）“天地之中杯”廉政漫画大赛。以反腐倡廉为主题征集漫画作品，参赛作品主要围绕“八项规定”、“六项禁令”创作，要反映党风、政风、民风，弘扬真善美、鞭挞假恶丑、传播正能量。
      （2）“天地之中杯”文化遗产国际漫画大赛。以保护世界文化遗产、传承传统文化为主题征集漫画作品，参赛作品要致力于提高公众文化遗产保护观念、促进传统文化的回归。
      2.赛制安排
      本次大赛两个单项比赛分别开展初评和终评，初评入围作品进入大赛终评。

四、奖项设置和奖励办法
      1.奖项设置。作品征集和评审分为廉政漫画组、文化遗产漫画组，设“天地之中杯”漫画大奖一名，两组分别评出金奖、银奖、铜奖。获奖作品由河南省漫画家协会颁发获奖证书和奖金。
      2.奖励办法。获奖作品由“天地之中杯”廉政暨文化遗产漫画大赛组委会和主办单位共同表彰并颁发获奖证书。“天地之中杯”漫画大奖1名，奖金30000元；廉政组、文化遗产组各设金奖1名，奖金20000元，银奖5名，奖金5000元，铜奖10名，奖金3000元。另设组织工作奖10名，颁发奖杯。

五、参赛范围
本次大赛面向世界各国漫画家、漫画爱好者、动漫企业征集作品，作品形式主要为单幅漫画、四格漫画、短篇故事漫画。

六、参赛须知
      1.参赛作品须具有鲜明的思想性和幽默感，无中国法律法规禁止的内容，参赛作品需拥有自主知识产权。
      2.参赛作品需填写《“天地之中杯”廉政暨文化遗产漫画大赛参赛报名表》（可登陆www.xiaoyingtao.com.cn下载）。
      3.参赛者需提供身份证影印件。
      4.作品格式：画面尺寸统一为A3规格（420×297mm），分辨率不低于300dpi,作品背面需注名作品名称、作者姓名、联系电话、电子邮箱和通信地址。
      5.大赛主办方对所有参赛作品拥有但不限于以下使用权：以任何形式、在任何载体进行发表、发布、传播、展示，对获奖作品进行免费结集出版、发布、展示。参赛者用参赛作品从事其他活动不受本次大赛约束。
      6.不退回参赛作品，不收取参赛费用。

Un’idea ed un progetto di Nicola Bucci “Bucnic” in collaborazione con 56 ^Fiera del Vino
di Montefiascone

Concorso internazionale di satira disegnata a partecipazione gratuita.


Intorno  all'anno 1111 Giovanni Deuc detto Defuk,
un principe prussiano amante del buon vino, incaricò il fedele servo Martino di
cercare per lui il migliore. Martino partì per questa ricerca e per far capire al suo
padrone che era stato in quel paese e che vi si trovava del buon vino, scriveva
sulla porta della locanda Est! Che significava "è qui". Defuk, passando per i
paesi visitati dal servo, si fermava dove trovava la scritta "Est!". Martino arrivato a
Montefiascone rimase talmente colpito da questo vino da scrivere Est! Est!!
Est!!!. Quando Defuk assaggiò quel vino non poté più smettere di gustarlo così
che il troppo bere lo portò alla morte. Il principe prussiano venne sepolto nelle
basilica di San Flaviano, dove ancora oggi si trova la sua tomba, e prima di
morire espresse il desiderio che ogni anno nella ricorrenza della sua morte
venisse versato del vino sulla sua tomba. Da questa vicenda nasce il Corteo
Storico falisco e viene tratta la manifestazione “Fiera del Vino”, che si svolge
ogni anno nel mese di agosto

56^ Fiera del Vino di Montefiascone, nell'ambito della prima edizione del “DiVino in Vino Cartoons” - Concorso Internazionale di satira disegnata dedicato al Vino bandisce un concorso internazionale di satira disegnata a partecipazione gratuita.



1. Tema del concorso: " Il vino - EST! EST! EST!”

La partecipazione è gratuita ed aperta ad artisti di qualsiasi nazionalità.

Le opere devono essere in originale, eseguite con tecnica libera,

sviluppate su una tavola unica nel formato massimo UNI A4 (cm. 21 x 29,7).

Sono ammesse al concorso anche le opere in digitale stampate su supporto cartaceo e firmate in originale.

Le opere non devono essere state pubblicate in passato.

Un Comitato di Garanzia - composto da professionisti del settore e da esponenti del mondo culturale

selezionerà per la mostra ”DiVino in Vino Cartoons” i 30 lavori più significativi

Le 30 opere  selezionate per la mostra finale  dovranno essere in originale, eventuali copie non saranno  accettate.

Le opere finaliste non saranno restituite e rimarranno proprietà del Comitato organizzatore.
Per i minorenni è obbligatoria l'autorizzazione di un genitore o di chi ne fa le veci.

Ogni autore può partecipare con un’unica opera. Qualora siano inviate più opere il Comitato di garanzia, a suo

insindacabile giudizio, sceglierà l’opera  che parteciperà al concorso.

2. Il termine ultimo per l’ammissione in concorso è fissato al 31 Luglio 2014.

Le opere, accompagnate dalla scheda di partecipazione in formato integrale debitamente compilata e firmata,
dovranno pervenire, a mezzo e-mail  (in formato .jpg (300 dpi)) all’indirizzo:

Gli autori selezionati per la mostra finale si impegnano ad inviare le opere in originale a mezzo posta ordinaria all’indirizzo:

Le 30 opere finaliste saranno pubblicate sul sito www.fieradelvinomontefiascone.it

Il pubblico potrà esprimere il proprio voto on-line decretando il vincitore del “DiVino in Vino Web”

La giura si riserva la possibilità di assegnare eventuali premi e menzioni speciali.





4. I lavori ammessi alla fase finale saranno esposti in mostra per tutta la durata della 56^ Fiera del Vino di

Montefiascone.
       
Le trenta opere finaliste saranno successivamente esposte in mostra itinerante presso le aziende vinicole sponsor dell’evento.



5. Ciascun autore risponde del contenuto delle proprie opere.

Gli elaborati pervenuti rimarranno proprietà del comitato organizzatore, potranno essere scelti per la

pubblicazione, riproduzione ed ogni altro tipo di utilizzo.
Tutti i partecipanti al concorso implicitamente accolgono questa norma e accettano, senza previsione di

compenso alcuno, l'esposizione della propria opera in una o più mostre successive alla manifestazione ed il suo

utilizzo per la pubblicazione di cataloghi, libri, manifesti, segnalibri, magliette, cappellini, calendari, agende e

sui mezzi di informazione per servizi richiesti o predisposti dall’ Organizzatore. In ogni caso sarà obbligatoria la

citazione sia dell'autore, sia del Paese di provenienza, sia della manifestazione “DiVino in Vino Cartoons :

dal momento dell'arrivo a quello della chiusura della mostra.

8. La partecipazione al Concorso implica la piena accettazione del presente Regolamento.

Regulations:
1. Cartoonists can send their works in any of the two abovementioned main and special sections.
2. Each cartoonist can send a maximum of three works in each section to participate in the contest.
3. Cartoons to be sent in A4 size (300 dpi resolution and jpg format).
4. Cartoonists shall be free to choose any technique they wish to use.
5. Jpg files should be named according to the following examples in ENGLISH language:

9. Festival’s Secretariat shall be entitled to use the participating cartoons in any way.
10. Dispatched works shall not be returned to the senders.

International Tourism Cartoon Competition is held with the cooperation of Association of Tourism Writers and Journalists (TUYED) and Anatolia: A Journal of Tourism Research. The objective of the competition, which was first held in 2009, is to examine tourism, which is one of the biggest sectors in the world, with its various dimensions. Also, the competition aims to put forward cartoonists’ aspects in terms of travelling population’s experiences and relations during their travel. In this respect, the main objective of this competition is to assess such topics, developments and experiences within the tourism industry as accomodation, transportation, food and beverage, recreation, sightseeing, museums, envirenment, tourist-resident relationships, from cartoonists’ point of view.
Competition is held annually and is open to all cartoonists from all over the world, both amateur and professional. Nearly 130 submitted works which get to the final elimination take place in the Cartoon Book. The reward ceremony of the present competition will be held in Antalya, Turkey.

Theme

The theme of the competition in 2014 is all-inclusive holiday.
Every topic interested in all-inclusive holiday can be selected in cartoon drawings.
An all-inclusive holiday is a tour that is arranged by a travel agent; where transportation, food and lodging are all provided at a price which is inclusive for all the charges and services offered. An all-inclusive holiday includes a minimum of three meals daily, soft drinks, most alcoholic drinks, gratuities, and possibly other services included in the price. The following items are included in most of all-inclusive holiday prices.

•         Airfare,
•         Airport transfers,
•         Accommodations,
•         Meals (breakfast, buffet and dining room),
•         Nightly entertainment, pools,
•         Beverages, including soft drinks, bottled water and alcohol,
•         Spa services.

Categories

Cartoons will be accepted in two sections:
Category of Adult Cartoonists: This category is open for the all of cartoonists who are 17 and older. Category should be noted when cartoons are submitting. Grand award, second award, third award, Professor Atila &Ouml;zer recognition award and five mansions will be given in this section. Finalist cartoons in this section will be published in the album.
Category of Young Cartoonists: This category is open for the cartoonists who are 16 and younger. Category should be noted when cartoons are submitting. Grand award and six achievement awards will be given in this section. Finalist cartoons in this section will be published in the album.

Submission Guidelines
The competition is open to all amateur and professional cartoonists.
Each performer is allowed to submit maximum three works.
The cartoons submitted to the competition may be prepared as original drawings, digital printings or computer printouts. The drawing technique is open-ended. Drawings may be colorful or black and white. On the other hand, performers are required to put signatures on their drawings.
Participants must write their names, surnames and addresses behind their drawings. Also, they must complete the Participant Information Form placed under submission page and send it together with their drawings.
Cartoons sent may be of the ones previously published somewhere but previously awarded cartoons are not allowed to submit.
Cartoons submitted for selection will be able to be printed in Anatolia: A Journal of Tourism Research and Association of Tourism Writers and Journalists and in other printed materials of this organization such as books, catalogs, brochures, postcards, web sites and posters. All rights for any other publishing except these belong to the owner of drawing.
The cartoons that will be selected after the first evulation will be announced between February 1 and 10, 2015. The objections will took into account between Februrary 1 and 10, 2015.
Finalist cartoons will be published in the album. Cartoonists whose drawings published in this album will be sent a copy of the album.
Regardless of award-winning or taking place in the album, all the cartoons submitted for selection will not be returned.
All the cartoonists participated in the competition are implied to agree on the conditions and regulations of the competition.
Cartoons can be sent by way of postal service or Cartoon Submission system.
Submission deadline is 31 December 2014.

Evaluation Declarations
1.    Works submitted to the competition will be evaluated in two stages.
2.    In the first stage, all the works will be pre-evaluated at a meeting held by Pre-Evaluation Selection Committee members. At the end of this meeting, finalist works will be determined. No more than 1/5 of the works submitted to the competition will be taken for further evaluation.
3.    Before continuing with the second stage, finalist works will be announced on the internet between 1st and 10th February 2015. Similar and copy works, plagiarism, previously awarded works, and other objections will be decided by the Pre-Evaluation Selection Committee members and due to the reasonable objections, on which the committee will reach a consensus, related works will be eliminated.
4.    At the second stage, finalist works will be re-evaluated by Final Selection Committee Members. This time, evaluation will be done in two sub-stages. In the first stage, the number of finalist woks will be reduced to 45-50 and, in the last stage, winners will be determined.
5.    Evaluation of the submitted works will be done based on three critical issues mentioned below.
•         Selection and convenience of the topic,
•         Quality of humor,
•         Originality of drawing.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:

1 – This contest and exhibition is open to all professional and amateur cartoonists of any nationality religion and ect…

2 – Subjects:

“Olive and Women”

“Olive”
(Cartoons against detroying the olive trees, olive, olive industry, olive oil, olive branch, olive tree, cutting olive trees, benefit from olive etc...)

3 – Pieces of work to be sent for the contest should have the form of a cartoon… Pictures and illustrations will not be accepted…

4 – Cartoons to be sent for the contest should be in digital format... The sizes A4 or A3; with a minimum 300 dpi JPG... Coloural or black and white… Name, surname, address, phone number and e – mail address of each participant should be indicated… Cartoons submitted for the contest should not contain any script – writing on them...

5 – The cartoons submitted to the contest which will be pre-elected will be put and exhibited on a web page for the attention and objection of international cartoon associations to overcome copying and steeling… Any cartoon which is copied, stolen or awarded in other cartoon contest will be disqualified…

6 – All participants are allowed to submit maximum two (2) cartoons…

7 – All the cartoons must reach to the specified address till (Deadline) 20 SEPTEMBER 2014…

8 – Being published or not is not important for the cartoons… The important thing is that they should not be awarded in any contest…

9 – All cartoons eligible for an award or not shall not be returned and shall be stored in archive of the "Cyprus International Catoon Museum."

10 – Besides those cartoons which will be awarded, all the cartoons approved by the selection committee will be pubicated in an album and exhibited in Kyrenia village during the “13. International Olive Festival”.

11 – Results of the competition, as well as the selection committee decisions, will be released to the cartoonists who have qualified to receive awards, all participants and press...

•        The transfer and accomodation expenses of the cartoonists who will win the first three awards will be paid by the Municipality of Kyrenia…

•        Only the accomodation expenses of the cartoonists who will win particular/distinctive awards will be paid by the Municipality of Kyrenia…

12 – All cartoons sent to the contest; card, poster, album, newspaper, magazine can be reproducible using CD and or other technigues… All participants have accepted the terms of the contest by submitting their works… The participants financial compensation in the future for all the above mentioned reproducible works…
